Bad Publix Turkey Update

As I mentioned on an earlier post, I had one of the worst turkeys ever on Christmas day. I am tired of wasting my hard earned money on bad food, so I knew I was going to return that bad turkey. Here was my dilemma, do I bring in this half eaten turkey carcass as evidence or do I just go in with a receipt? Debating that issue with my mother for a few minutes, she came up with a great idea, call Publix and ask them what to do.

The Publix employee was very nice and considerate. She told us to just bring in the receipt and they will refund us are money for the turkey. When we complained about the cost of the fresh organic herbs we bought at Sweetbay that also got wasted, they said they could not give us money back for those because we didn’t but it from them, but surprisingly offered to give us store credit for the purchase price of the herbs from Sweetbay. Sweet deal for us, well sweet deal if you consider the fact that we had to attempt to eat that gross turkey for Chrsitmas dinner.

I was only semi convinced before that I would forever return bad food, now I am very convinced.
