Yesterday I wrote about the Christmas tree I bought at Dollar General. I forgot to mention I also found two adorable light up snowman ornaments. These ornaments were marked for a dollar but were 50% off because they no longer lit up. I thought they were most likely out of batteries, and that I have a large supply of small batteries at my store, so I assumed I would probably be able to get them lighted again. Even if they wouldn’t light up I figured they were cute anyway I went ahead and bought them for 50 cents each.

So yesterday in between customers at the store I pried apart one of the ornaments and tried to replace the battery. Sadly I realized I didn’t have the right batteries there. Since those small batteries would cost more than the money I saved on the ornament, I decided I would just hang it on the tree as it was. So I stuck the batteries back in the ornament. I am a bit OCD so I made sure I stuck them all in lined up like the picture said to, and to my surprise the ornament lit up! The Dollar General ornament wasn’t out of batteries at all, the person in China who put them in there had just put them in backwards! 

I haven’t got a chance to check the other ornament yet, but hopefully its the same thing. The cute little light up blue snowman looks so adorable on my tree, especially because I know I got such a great deal on him!
