Dollar General Christmas Tree

Published by nannettenicole at 9:20 pm under Product Review Edit This

I just got done putting up my new Christmas tree. We used to get very large twelve foot plus, real trees. Now we live in a smaller home so it was time to downsize to a smaller tree. Last year I waited until the last minute to buy a tree and every real tree in town was gone, as were most low cost artificial trees. So we opted to spend $30 at that store I don’t like that starts with a “W” on a white tree. All I can say about that white tree is that it was nice for one year.

So this year I wanted to get a small inexpensive artificial green tree. While at Dollar General I saw they had a six foot green Christmas tree with about 465 tips for $20. While this wasn’t the Christmas tree of my dreams, times are tough so I decided to go ahead and buy it. The Dollar General  Christmas tree was uncomplicated to put together but it did take a bit of time. Once I put it together it wasn’t as bad as I had originally envisioned, but not as nice as the picture. They never are, are they?

If you are looking for a cheap tree to get you by, the Dollar General tree is nice for the money. If you are extremely picky, like I can be. Spend a little extra. Whatever you do don’t buy the $35 fiber optic Christmas tree from Dollar General.  A Dollar General employee told me she bought one and it was extremely narrow.
